The girls and I recently went to the zoo with some friends and I was quite surprised when I got home and realized I had only taken about ten pictures. I guess we were just having too much fun.
We rode the carousel just before lunch and it was a huge hit. Morgan rode a Polar Bear and Violet was on a Bacary. I really thought Vi would be more excited by it but she just casually took it all in and didn't seem to care too much either way.

It wasn't miserably hot, but it was very warm.
M wants to take her picture in front of this every time we go.
She likes that she is almost as big as the "mom" gorilla now.
The zoo currently has "Zoorasic Park" going on , which is pretty cool. There are these giant animatronic dinosaurs all over that roar, move around, and spray water. The kids loved to find one, see if they knew the name, wait for it to roar or spray water, then run screaming and giggling.
The dinosaurs may have been more exciting than the animals.
A very fun day. I should really just invest in a zoo pass. We could seriously do this everyday.
