Goin' Downtown!

Val and Todd and their kids are visiting for a bit, so yesterday we all went downtown and walked around Temple Square.

The kids all enjoyed the water features and we were sure that someone was going to fall in eventually. Surprisingly, and to our relief, they all stayed relatively dry.

This is M's feather.
She pulled it out of the fountain and it took quite a while to convince her she could not take it home. In the end she decided to plant it in a flower bed. I thought that was a great idea.

Macie just hanging out.

We tried to get a group shot.
Violet refused to sit by anyone or be photographed. This is the best one I got, and with this many kids I consider it a success that you can almost see every one's face.

My Cuties
I find this picture awesome because it's a pretty good representation of their personalities.
As Brad often says "The little one is trouble."

M had a play date with one of her best friends the other day. After a while I realized that they were awfully quiet in the playroom and went to check on them. I found them surrounded by papers they had covered in dots. They told me they were making cheetah costumes and once they were finished I helped them put the costumes on.
The red marks on their legs are where the lions got them.
In other news, Morgan got in to one of the charter school's in our neighborhood, and after a couple of days of thinking about it, we've decided to give it a go. We went on a tour today and it looks like your basic elementary school, and we got to meet M's teacher who was very nice and seems very excited about teaching. We're looking forward to it and figure if we don't like it we can always leave. Although I am excited about their uniforms, this school requires full-on plaid skirts and knee-high socks type uniforms.
They're going to be so cute!
