We weren't sure what we were getting into but it turned out pretty fun. Friday night was the adults only dinner and as we walked down the hallway towards the ballroom, we came to a dead stop. There was a giant scrapbooking convention being held in the foyer to the ballroom that we all had to walk through to get in, it was a little weird. All the scrapbooking ladies kept asking "What year reunion is this? Oh you all look like you just graduated this year!" They were funny, but the set up was odd.
Once inside we starting walking around and chatting with everyone. It was fun to catch up and see what everyone was up to. Mostly we're all doing well, just living our lives. They had this giant banner hung up on the back wall that we had all signed at graduation and written what we thought we would be doing in five years, it was pretty funny to see what people had written. I said I'd have a degree in PR and maybe be working for a senator somewhere, Brad predicted he would be leader of the street people.
We sat by our friend Felicia and her finance, Shaun, and spent most of the evening talking with them. After dinner they started the music and opened up the dance floor. We had to take off to pick up Morgan (who my mom had been watching since 2 pm) so apparently we missed the real excitement of the evening that culminated in one guy getting really drunk, passing out, and being drug off the dance floor by his feet, and another guy being escorted out by security for harassing the poor scrapbooking ladies. It really was just like high school!

The next day there was a picnic lunch in the park as a chance for everyone to get together with their kids. Morgan had a great time playing in the bouncy castles and just running around like crazy with all the other kids. It's sort of crazy to meet people's kids and to see all of our kids playing together. We had fun just hanging out and talking to old friends. It was fun to reconnect with a lot of people and see that everyone is doing well. Go Skyline Grizzlies!

Susan and I have known each other since 7th grade and our kids are about the same age so it was great to just hang out and catch up.

It was nice to hear a little about the reunion, since I obviously wasn't there.
