Alexis and Morgan with the Fairy King and his courtEach year the library hosts a Fairy Tea Party and it is one of our most popular events by far! This year I was working two of the teas and got to bring Morgan to the third one. It was so much fun. She was telling people that she was going to a Fairy Tea Party for weeks in advance and was so excited to get all dressed up and go. Our childrens department really pulls out all of the stops and it's so fun to watch the little girls get all excited over it all.

Fairies have gone high-tech!
Kristi completely stole the show! Little girls were lining up to have their pictures taken with her, the professional photographer had her come in and pose against the backdrops to use as promotions or something, and some lady offered to buy her shoes! She made her entire costume - including the shoes.

I was wondering why Morgan kept telling me she wanted me to come with her to the tea party.... She got on Brad's headset...I mean cell phone and kept talking about it. It all makes sense now.

When the snow melts, and spring comes, you have to go 'fairy spying' in the park. Be sure to heck all the clover patches for pixies, too!
