Easy Way Down

I love to ski. Seriously, it's awesome. And I love that my family all ski. Teaching M has been so much fun, and any time I get a chance to make some runs with Kinley is awesome.

Kinley and crew were in town for the holidays and we had to get everyone up to the hill to get some runs in. M and Tanner did a fantastic job despite the cold. Their favorite part was riding the chairlift, but as long as they're having a good time, whatever.

We were able to leave the kids in the ski school office and make a couple of runs at the end of the day. It was hilarious to see our kids running all over the ski school because that is how we grew up. M was even working the 'phone' (a stapler Pop gave her) scheduling lessons and Tanner was leaving everyone important messages on Post-it notes.
How could we not take a picture of this sign?
The skiing was actually really good, despite the cold wind that just hurt. We had some time to kill waiting for people to get their toddlers off this advanced run (well, as advanced as you can get at Kelly's) so we took some pictures.

Nana and Pop spoiled the kids with a little Happy Birthday Everyone party with presents and cupcakes!
I've been trying to get some fun candid shots of M but it is just impossible. The girl loves cameras and has a sixth sense for when one is pointed at her.

Kate only likes the frosting.

Vi decided the toy on top was a pretty good fork.

It's nice that we had such a good time last weekend because the kids and Brad have been really sick the last three days. The 'highlight' for me was M throwing up all over the backseat of the car and saying "Look Mom, my cheese stick from lunch!" then pretty much passing out. My car has been scrubbed, Febreezed, washed, aired out and it still smells. This may require professional help.

That's awesome that the kids like skiing so much! It helps that they have a parent who is patient and also really good! Morgan looks so grown up in the picture with Brad on his birthday! You have an adorable family!
