Breakfast With a Witch

Another week, another field trip.

Today we went to Breakfast With a Witch with M's preschool. All week M has been asking me questions like "Is it at the witch's house? Are they real witches or just costumes? Will they make us eat Witch Soup because humans can't eat Witch Soup." I have no idea where the last one came from. Then when the witches came around to our table she was so in shock that she forgot to ask any questions. We did get some autographs and pictures though, and M loved getting to wear her costume already. She is Fancy Nancy, from the books, and Vi is a polar bear.

There are a few extra kids in this pictures since there was no school today, so some siblings tagged along as well.
The witches sang, danced, and kept everyone entertained through breakfast. Vi wasn't too sure what was going on, she never cried, but she did give the witches a pretty weird look whenever they got too close.
After breakfast we went on the Witchy Scavenger Hunt.
We had to find the witches doing certain things and mark them off, then we turned in our sheets for a cookie.
M and Vi with the Dancing Sisters.

And even though her eyes are closed, I still think this is a pretty cute picture.

We had a lot of fun with the witches and now fully in the Halloween Spirit.
