Morgan was Ariel this year and very excited to go actual Trick-or-Treating. The weather was great, just cool enough for a t-shirt under her dress. Brad was wearing shorts and we laughed about how our costumes were always hidden under our winter coats at home. We weren't really sure what to expect but all of the houses we went to were very excited to see us saying there were very few kids coming through. Most people would give her 4-5 pieces of candy. She loved it.
Here's Morgan by our front door. One of the tricky things here is that all of the front doors are on the sides of the houses, behind the garage, so it's really hard to tell who has their lights on and which house to go to, etc. The solution is decorate the parts of your entry way that are visible from the street (in our case the little railing with streamers) and maybe turn on the light in your garage. We've still had very few trick-or-treaters.Yesterday morning Brad got up and took Morgan for a little hike in Red Rock Canyon. I understand that for the most part she had fun.
