If you haven't read these, you should. I was sick all weekend and finished all three books. Brad claims I abandoned him. I said I was suprised he noticed between all of his football games.
They're by a BYU grad and about vampires and warewolves. I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but trust me - they're good.

I think Alison was sick. I think she had Book Worms.
She is getting better.
I absolutly LOVED these books! Although I did feel a little nerdy when I told people I was reading a romance novel that had Vampires and Warewolves. Ali, I am glad to see that someone else besides 14 year olds love this series. Twilight is the upcoming book for our Relief Society book club, and I will get a kick out of hearing what some of the sisters in our ward think of it. It gets a little steamy....oh boy how I do love Edward! And Jacob, too; but Edward better...Hope you get feeling better.
I knew it!!!
I could tell these were Vampire Romance Novels, but Ali kept denying it.
Now she is going back and reading just parts of the three books. I bet she re-reads the steamy parts!
I couldn't wait for you to send me the book - I was itching to read it after we talked about it. I borrowed it from a coworker - who also loved them (small world!) and have not been able to put it down.....seriously, I brought it to work today and I am reading it when no one is looking. I'm almost done. Hurrah for a new series! I was worried with the end of HP that we would have to give up our nerdy email literature discussions. I should be done with the first book this evening. Good call Ali!
Brad, one will never fully recover from a case of Book Worms. You knew she was sick when you married her. Sometimes the symptoms just flare up.........like other, less desirable illnesses. I'd say you got lucky.
Compared the the worms Alison risked encountering when she married her fresh-from-Brazil husband, I guess Book Worms are pretty benign.
I'm glad you guys like the books too. I LOVED them but then I'm always worried that I will recommend them to people and they'll be like "This is crap."
And I am also happy to know that it's not just me and the 19-year-olds at work that read them.
But they are fabulous! I also love Edward. Jacob is kind of starting to grow on me, but I really love Edward so much more. :)
I went through all three books in about 5 days. Ali is right, they are very good! Now we just have to wait another year for the next one......................
I got you beat! All three in FOUR days!!!
I knew the books were popular, but was still a bit surprised when I requested the first one from the library and was number 184 on the list! Luckily my sister bought them all and is coming to visit in a couple of weeks.
NOOO NATALIE... NOOO!!!
They are sleazy vampire love books!!! Avoid!!!
I took a guess at the plot and was correct. I guessed that there were two boys interested in one girl and the poor girl has to decide between them. I was wrong when I guessed there was a human-vampire-werewolf love triangle.
Writing books for girls must be easy. . . just appeal to their narcissism.
And all you have to do to write a good guy book is hide a nuclear bomb at a major sporting event and include lots of pictures of blowing stuff up.
And I corrected Brad about the vampire-human-werewolf love triangle thing.
If I was a girl and had to choose between a Vampire and a Werewolf, I pick Vampire every time.
Guys are already kind of difficult to live with, imagine if you had to house-break and flea-bath one? And one of them will tear you limb from limb, while the other will just turn you into an un-dead.
