Soccer Star!

We signed M up for a soccer team this spring and she liked most of it. She enjoyed the practices but wasn't very interested in the game. These are from her last game. As you can see she is not in uniform. That's because the league is stupid and lost her uniform and have yet to get us a new one. I am not impressed.

She was not afraid of getting in there and trying to kick the ball, she just wasn't always clear on which way to kick it.

This was shortly after the other team threw the ball in and M "Caught it with my face, then it bounced of my belly, and landed on my foot so I kicked it." It was actually a pretty good play and her kick missed the goal by about an inch. It would have been awesome.

She really liked to play goalie, once she realized the goalie can use their hands. She was pretty good too, and saved several goals.

This league is over and now she plays in a little league people in our neighborhood set up. She enjoys this a lot more, mostly because her friends are all there. They have a half hour practice, a little break, then play a 20 minute game. M scored her first goal during the last game, then ran in a circle yelling "Gooooooooal!" Did I mention that they named their team the Magic Bows?  I like this league much better, and not just because it was free.
