Violet

Vi will be 18 months old in a few weeks and she is becoming such a girly-girl. Her favorite words are "No" and "Shoes", which have become her favorite article of clothing and she wants to wear them all the time. When I get her up in the morning she immediately points at her closet and says "Shoes, shoes".

She also loves to play with M and learn from her. I'll often find Vi watching M, holding the same toy and copying whatever she does. Morgan is really getting into teaching Vi things as well, showing her how to color and play with toys. M is even pretty patient when Vi takes her toys, pulls her hair, pushes her away, or just screams at her.

But our favorite thing Vi has learned is to give hugs. She'll run up with her arms out and wrap them around our legs or M's waist. It's really sweet to have her showing us love on her own.

Here she is rocking her 80's look. You can't quite see it but her shirt has a Care Bear on it.

Anything can be an accessory as long as you have the guts and know-how to pull it off.

We get this look from time to time. Brad says it's because she's beginning to realize exactly who she got stuck with in the family department.

She is such a bright, happy, easy-going, beautiful little girl and we love having her in our family.
