Because Penguins Are Just That Cool

We went to SLC and hung out with Trent and Kylie last weekend. The festivities began with a trip to the Living Planet Aquarium which was completely full to capacity due to the new penguin exhibit that just opened.

Some highlights from the trip included the quote "The jellyfish are pretty cool, they change color. Granted it's because they shine different colored lights on them, but still." and witnessing a shouting match between two women trying to take pictures of the penguins that began with an "Excuuuuse me?" and ended with "Whateva, whateva." complete with hand and head movements.

I wasn't about to jump into the fray of penguin-photo-seeking women so we settled for a picture by the life size cutouts on the wall. M really liked the idea that she and this penguin are the same height.
We spent the rest of the weekend hanging out and having a BBQ with Rich and Buffy. Morgan has a wonderful time running around with her cousins and having carpet to play on. We had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone and enjoying a little cooler weather.
