This is the end of October in Vegas. The Beach is at Lake Mead. Lake mead is a few hundred feet lower than it's high, so some of the bays and harbors we drove by were dry.

Most of the beach was kind of rocky, but if you walked along the shore you would find spots where the waves had cleared out some sand. We had to lie to Morgan to get her to leave. . .

This was earlier, back on the tenth of October. There was a neighborhood pumpking festival thing. Morgan dressed as a mermaid. It was really hot, around 90 degrees that day.

This is out toward Mt. Charleston, just west of where we live. Trees! Not at this spot, but there is a ski resort on this mountain. And it opened a week after we took this picture (?).
