Knowing

Ali and I saw the Nicolas Cage movie, Knowing, today. Here is my brief opinion.

Knowing is a wild ride with plenty of thrills and chills. Maybe I don't see enough movies in theatres, but it was pretty intense. I don't like Mr. Cage all that much, but it worked. Great effects, great scenes, plenty of mystery and suspense.

But I don't think many people will leave the theatre satisfied. It is a great ride, but leaves you feeling a bit cheated. Not because it has some bizarro ending, but just because it turns out the premise of the movie is.  .  . well, unsatisfying. 

But, if you want to be entertained for a couple hours and don't mind suspending disbelief, it is pretty good.
