You insist of campaigning against a guy after both of you have gotten out of the race.
Ahh...Huckabee. It's people like you who make it so nice to be an Independent. Can you imagine having to side with this guy on issues? What is really interesting about this is that Romney has been saying for months that he will not be the Veep. He isn't telling people he doesn't want it, he is just flat out telling them he is not going to be it. But Don't-Mormons-Worship-Satan?-Huckabee has found a chord that reasonates with his base. It is just funny at this point, Huckabee will be campaigning against Romney for the rest of his life. I guess it must be tough when you do so well with such a narrow band of voters only to watch as someone with more appeal, more money, more sense, etc., continues to be part of the campaign.
The deeper irony here is that Romney's position on social issues is far more conservative than McCain's, and other potential Veep's range all-over the place - including people who are simply (now, currently, activly, vocally) Pro-Choice. So why would the Huckabee camp be so vocal about Romney, the more conservative of the bunch? Hmmm. . .
