I can't remember when it was, but Hannah used to be a good sleeper...and then KaBlamo! It's partially overly permissive parenting, so maybe I shouldn't complain... Now that there is another kid, our resolve has apparently decreased more.
She hasn't slept in her crib for several months, instead sleeping on a pile of blankets on the floor. She climbs out of her crib if we put her in it... My quality of sleep hasn't been poor for too long.
Yeah, she's not even officially two yet but she has learned the art of the tantrum.
Truthfully, she's pretty laid back, even most of her tantrums are pretty mellow. Usually their not so much yelling as just making an "Ahhhhhhh" noise for two or three minutes, then getting bored and going to find her doll.
Yeah. I think Morgan might be the beneficiary of some permissive parenting.
Her dad is too rationale to be a behavior modifier. He sees things like screaming-to-share-bed this way:
Let baby scream all night = 3 people don't sleep.
Put baby in bed w/Dad = 3 people get to sleep.
I also don't ever think her screaming is disingenuous. Apparently, some people think maybe she is just manipulating us for the power trip. I think her tiny soul is just terrified that Elmo is going to come eat her in her sleep (or something), so I do what I can to help.

Welcome to the Terrific Two's! ;) It does get better.
Morgan's hair is getting so long! I love it.
